Fry a potato, cut into wedges, in a tablespoon of olive oil.
While the potato is cooking, heat a couple of teaspoons of olive oil in the microwave. Add chopped onion and microwave until onion is soft (about 15s).
Turn the potato wedges regularly. Sprinkle with mixed herbs.
Add some tinned mushrooms to the onions and microwave for 20s.
Add 1/2 cup tinned tomatoes to the onion/mushroom mix and microwave for about 60s.
Add sliced baby marrows to the mix.
Add a tablespoon of Emma's Dried Apple and Roast Vegetable Chutney. Mix, then microwave in short sessions (30s) until the baby marrows are soft.
Add rump steak to the pan and fry to the required degree of "doneness".
Enjoy with a nice porter!
A variation on the veggies: here, the ingredients are onions, chopped tomatoes, baby marrows and Emma's Basil and Cashew Nut Pesto.
Pan fry halved baby potatoes until crisp then add to the mix.
Served here with Varknek Steak (pork neck steak).
