Brown onions with mushrooms (tinned mushrooms used here). Start cooking penne.
Add half a tin of chopped tomatoes, two tsp of Emma's (Wyckedd) Redpepper and Chilli Sauce with two tablespoons of Emma's Basil and Pecan Nut Pesto. Add Mixed Herbs to taste. Allow to simmer for a few minutes.
Add half a cup of white wine.
Add braaied chicken sausage chopped into pieces (I used Woolworth's chicken sausage with peppadew). I also added some leftover chicken breast.
Mix well, and simmer for about five minutes.
Add drained penne to mixture. Mix well.
(Note: the penne were a bit large for this dish - I want to try it with smaller pasta elbows).
