For this experiment, I used one breast per skewer, with the breast cut into reasonably sized blocks.
(As you can see still two breasts left over!)
About ⅓ of the bottle of sauce, mixed with a tablespoon or two of olive oil and about ½ a cup of water to make the sauce flow more easily.
Coat the sosaties thoroughly and allow to stand for about an hour.
Braai over coolish coals (here a gas braai at 150°C) for about an hour. Baste and turn regularly to prevent the chicken from drying out.
(The potatoes were precooked in a microwave oven.)
(Estimated cost: R28.46 and there was more meat on these three sosaties than the six from Woolworths!)
