Moholoholo : Moholoholo is a wildlife rehabilitation centre. Unfortunately, due to the nature of the animals being treated or housed at the centre, entrance to all enclosures was not possible, so some pictures were taken through diamond mesh fencing.

Pilanesberg 2006 : Photos taken on a recent visit to Pilanesberg Game Reserve about 200km NW of Pretoria. All photos, including landscapes, were taken with the Bigma. The vehicle window was used for support, except in the case where Simon du Plessis' monopod bucket (SdP) was used.

Because of winter conditions, extremely strong contrasts were found between the veld and the animals. This made for very difficult photographic conditions - especially as the animals were seldom active before 11 in the morning.

The order of the pictures is more or less that in which they were taken.
